You must admit that it’s not your closet that lacks space, it just so happens you have too many things to keep. An improperly designed closet may appear to have less than its actual capacity in holding all your stuff in proper storage. As a rule of thumb, most designers use this guideline in the proper design of a closet: 50% of the closet space is used for low-hanging clothes, 25% of the space is for hanging long clothes while the remaining 25% of the space is used for installing drawers and shelves.
By using these closet ideas in your design you can create the proper storage space for all your essentials. Your closet will look more organized and it won’t be hard for you to look for your items when you need them. Even when you add more stuff into your closet there is a designated space for them so it won’t look chaotic. With these guidelines in mind you will be able to maximize all the available space in your closet regardless of its size.
